Mainstream Yoga Class
For those seeking to join a mainstream yoga class, our weekly sessions offer a unique blend of traditional Hatha Yoga combined with therapeutic techniques and cater for all levels.

Groups are kept relatively small, with a maximum of ten people. This setting helps us to consider alignment, structure, and individual body types, as well as attend to any known injuries, thereby allowing everyone to feel at ease while focusing on being present on the mat.

If you are seeking a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, we welcome you to our sanctuary of serenity. Each session is meticulously designed to nurture your body, mind, and spirit, providing a moment of respite from the challenges of modern life.
Going beyond conventional yoga, our classes integrate therapeutic cues, adapting as closely as possible to your needs, to prioritise your well-being. Aside from modifications and variations given in general yoga classes, we attend to any known injuries and ailments, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all.
Emphasising alignment, mindfulness and empowerment, our holistic approach combines strength, flexibility, balance, pranayama, meditation and the importance of listening to your body.
Whether in need of healing, or of letting go following a stressful day/week, we empower you to cultivate mindfulness of yourself and your surroundings. Through conscious-living, you’ll develop acute awareness of your body in its physical and subtle form, so you too may take informed choices and make lifestyle adaptations tailored to your requirements.
Most importantly, our sessions are fun, self-empowering and liberating. We find great joy in listening to our students’ transformational stories as they progress in their yogic journey.

Our classes are suitable for anyone who is wishing to:
- Cultivate Flexibility: we'll guide you through gentle stretching movements and poses thoughtfully designed to enhance your body's flexibility with a mindful approach, simultaneously releasing tension and revitalizing your energy.
- Build Strength: we’ll harness the power of your breath to move in a way that cultivates strength from within, empowering you to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.
- Find Balance: we’ll embrace the mind-body connection as you explore balance on and off the mat to foster stability and calm in all aspects of your life.
- Cultivate Mindful Breathing: we’ll guide you through suitable breathing practices to support your system in finding solace within the present moment.
- Take Control of One’s Own Well-Being: through gentle yet empowering practices, we offer careful instruction to help you understand and heed your body's wisdom and cues. This empowers you to make mindful choices that honour your unique needs.
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a newcomer to the practice, our classes welcome individuals of all levels and backgrounds. No prior experience necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to explore the infinite possibilities within yourself.

Level: All levels are welcome. We will offer modifications and variations to suit everybody’s needs.

Why take our mainstream yoga class
- You do not have specific issues that require one-on-one attention.
- You prefer a close-knit setting.
- You are keen on trying yoga without having to attend in large groups.
- You’re interested in yoga therapy but cannot afford a private or group yoga therapy class (please speak to us, we might be able to find a solution) and/or such therapeutic groups are not suitable for you.
- You want to be educated on yogic principles rather than simply attending a physical asana class.
- You wish to practice and share your experience with others.
- You prefer to practice in someone else’s presence for motivation and to ensure correct alignment.

Considerations
- Classes are 1 hr each.
- Upon scheduling their first session, participants will be sent an email containing our enrolment form. This form must be completed, signed, and returned by email before the yoga class, to proceed. This is to enable us to tailor cues accordingly without having to ask about health matters in front of the group.
- By participating, clients agree to Baobab Yoga Therapy’s Terms & Conditions, release and waiver of liability, and privacy and security policy, all of which are noted in the above-mentioned enrolment form.
- A 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy applies. If you miss, cancel or change your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged the equivalent value of the class in line with Baobab Yoga Therapy’s policies.
