Larger Group Yoga Therapy for Broader Categories
Our larger group yoga therapy sessions are specially designed to address the needs of broader categories, such as pregnancy, teens, and other specific groups.
These sessions accommodate 6-8 participants, striking a balance between mainstream yoga and small group yoga therapy. Each session utilizes therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of the group, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive practice. By combining the benefits of traditional yoga with targeted therapeutic approaches, we aim to create a nurturing and effective experience for all participants.

Considerations
- Upon registering interest to join or form a group, participants will be sent an email containing our enrolment form. This form must be completed, signed, and returned by email before we can proceed with group placement. The form assists in determining whether large group yoga therapy or another service offered by Baobab Yoga Therapy is the best fit for you, while also supporting the safety and suitability of the group as outlined in ‘Group Formation’ below. Should the enrolment form reveal red flags, complexity, or uncertainty about group suitability, we may recommend a one-off paid intake for further evaluation before group formation. This will contribute toward the final fee and process. While an intake does not guarantee immediate or automatic placement into a group, it contributes to the all-rounded preparedness and safety, once a group is formed. It also supports the holistic safety of the individual should another service be deemed more suitable.
- Initial Intake and Physical and Breath Assessment: Large group yoga therapy sessions require an individual intake and assessment for each participant to ensure utmost safety. These take approx. 1.5 hours per person, but may take up to 2 hours maximum, thus please plan accordingly when booking your initial sessions. Cost for these initial sessions, is reflective of a one-to-one session, as applicable. Pricing thereafter is reflective of large group yoga therapy.
- By participating, clients agree to Baobab Yoga Therapy’s Terms & Conditions, release and waiver of liability, and privacy and security policy, all of which are noted in the above-mentioned enrolment form.
- We donate €1.00 per person per class for different charities as part of our Karma Yoga Practice.
- Our ‘refer a friend’ offer applies.

Group Formation
Should a group be already fully enrolled, not yet at minimum capacity, or not yet formed, individuals may either formulate their own group or wait until there is sufficient interest from others with similar needs. Participants will be placed on a waiting list until a suitable group can be arranged. We keep group sizes limited to ensure we can uphold the therapeutic quality promised in our larger group yoga therapy sessions.
Participation in large group yoga therapy is subject to Baobab Yoga Therapy’s evaluation to ensure:
- that participants do in fact fall under the same category of the group.
- that participation does not affect the remaining participants adversely.
- the safe practice of all participants, taking into consideration any other serious red flags and/or contra-indications that need to be taken into account for all concerned, including the individual in question.
Baobab Yoga Therapy reserves full discretion on such decision. Following confirmation of suitability, the individual will be:
- allocated to the respective large group yoga therapy program or
- placed on a waiting list and notified as soon as a suitable group can be formed, if one is not immediately available. Alternatively, we may work one-on-one until a group is formed.
When group participation in large group yoga therapy is deemed unsuitable for safety or ethical reasons, discussions will be held with the individual/s in question to find a solution, while the group will need to fulfil the minimum number of participants before commencing.
